3 Unbelievable ASIAN NOODLE DISHES – Honeysuckle



Buzy Beez! This new NOODLE video clip is for you. I have 3 incredibly straightforward recipes: Korean Jajangmyeon (black bean sauce), Kimchi Fried Noodles, and a Thai Peanut Noodle Salad with Steak! Each recipe would make 3-4 servings. They are all great to pack for lunch or just to take in for meal on a 7 days night!

Jajangmyeon Recipe:
– 1/4 cup fermented black bean paste
– 1 tsp sesame oil
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 2 cloves minced garlic
– 1 tsp minced ginger
– 1/2 lb ground turkey (or pork)
– salt & pepper
– 1/2 cup diced onion
– 1 diced zucchini
– 1 diced gold potato
– 1 1/4 cups hen broth
– 1 tsp kosher salt
– slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water)
– refreshing knife-minimize noodles
– refreshing cucumber

1) In a hot pan add the sesame oil and olive oil. Enable it warmth up then add the black bean paste and roast.
2) In the hot pan roast the chopped garlic and ginger till fragrant. Then add the ground turkey (or pork) and cook till nearly done.
3) add the diced onions, zucchini, and potatoes, salt, and last but not least the roasted black bean sauce. Incorporate the slurry to thicken. Prepare dinner for a couple of minutes.
4) put together noodles according to package deal directions. Drain and add to a bowl. Leading with sauce and cucumber to garnish.

Korean Fried Noodles:
– 2 cloves minced garlic
– 1 tsp minced ginger
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tsp sesame oil
– 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
– 1 tsp gochugaru
– 1 tsp honey
– 1 tbsp gochujang
– 1 tbsp water
– 2 stalks eco-friendly onion, chopped
– 1/2 lb pork stomach (or loin, hen, tofu), thinly sliced
– sesame oil
– kosher salt
– gochugaru
– 1 cup kimchi
– refreshing knife-minimize noodles
– fried egg
– sesame seeds

1) in a bowl mix together the minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, gochugaru, honey, gochujang, and water. This is a great simple Korean marinade, great for numerous factors.
2) in a hot pan add some sesame oil and add the sliced pork. Incorporate pinches of salt and gochugaru and cook for a moment just before incorporating the chopped eco-friendly onions and kimchi.
3) cook for a moment or two then add cooked noodles and the korean sauce. Prepare dinner for another moment.
4) provide with a fried egg and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced eco-friendly onions.

Thai Peanut Noodle Salad with Steak:
– 2 cloves minced garlic
– 1 tsp brown sugar
– 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 1/2 fish sauce
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1/2 lime’s juice
– 1 lb top rated sirloin steak, cubed
– 1/4 cup peanut butter
– 1 clove minced garlic
– 1 tsp minced ginger
– 1 tsp brown sugar
– 1 tsp chili garlic sauce
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1/2 lime’s juice
– 1/2 cup sliced purple cabbage
– 1/2 cup shredded zucchini
– 1/2 cup shredded carrot
– knife-minimize noodles
– chopped peanuts
– cilantro

1) in a bowl mix the minced garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, olive oil, and lime juice. This is the steak marinade.
2) marinade the steak cubes 1 hour to right away. Then skewer the steak them and grill every facet for 1-2 minutes depending on your preferred temperature. Enable rest at minimum 20 minutes.
3) in a bowl mix the peanut butter, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, and lime juice. This is our peanut sauce.
4) add cabbage, zucchini, and carrot to a bowl. Then add hot knife-minimize noodles and peanut sauce. Incorporate additional water if wanted to enable mix all the things together.
5) provide with a skewer of steak and garnish with chopped peanuts and cilantro.

  1. My Korean aunt would make jajangmyeon from time to time but complained it took too long to make, which deterred me from trying it myself. But after watching how easy it was in your video and trying it out, I couldn't believe how simple and quick Jajangmyeon could be! Thanks so much, it turned out amazing and instantly a favorite of mine now 🙂

  2. 有点想说这个炸酱面不太正宗呀 我们吃的炸酱面用的是甜面酱 然后用的是肉沫 先用料酒和葱姜把肉沫腌一下 然后葱下锅爆香 然后下肉沫 再加入甜面酱 再用生抽和老抽盐和糖调味 然后下面条的时候 加几颗青菜叶 最后装盘的时候放上黄瓜丝就好啦 单纯的交流下 没用英语写是因为我真的不知道这段话怎么用英语写orz

I have actually used either angel hair pasta or fettuccine when in a pinch.  The kimchi noodles is my FAV!!  My mom used to make it for me all the time when i was a child.  I feel lucky because i have an endless supply of sesame oil, seeds, soy sauce, Kim chi, kochujang, red pepper flakes, sriracha, oyster sauce, etc.!  Thank you so much for that jarjangmien recipe.  Can't wait to try it.

  4. Soooo….. Where exactly could I find an Asian market in Georgia, USA???? I would love to try all of your recipes, but sometimes you name off ingredients that I can't find in stores, or are from the Asian market.
