Best Chinese Food in Sydney Australia

We grew up eating Chinese food, so we’re always on the lookout for delicious Chinese food wherever we go. On this episode we catch up with our good mate Kenny and get fully immersed in China Town, Sydney.

Bring your extra comfy pants as we go try some of the top Chinese restaurants Sydney Australia has to offer.

1. Mr Wong, often reviewed as the best Dim Sum in Sydney.
Though it was on the expensive side it offered a Western twist on the classic Dim Sum experience.

Address: 3 Bridge Ln, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
Opening Hours: Saturday 10:30am–3pm, 5:30pm–12am
Sunday 10:30am–3pm, 5:30–10pm
Monday – Wednesday 12–3pm, 5:30–11pm
Thursday 12–3pm, 5:30pm–12am
Friday 12–3pm, 5:30pm–12am

2. Din Tai Fung, we don’t get this in New Zealand so we were super excited to have this popular franchise’s classic Xiao Long Bao (soup filled dumpling).

Address: World Square 11, 04/644 George St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
Opening Hours: Monday – Sunday 11am–2:30pm, 5–9:30pm

3. Beijing Style, our friend Kenny takes us to his local favourite Chinese restaurant in Sydney.

Address: 10 Dixon St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
Opening Hours: From early afternoon till late, no fixed times

4. Chefs Gallery, a very popular Chinese restaurant in Sydney. This place got packed quick and we can see why. Great food and also a cool modern vibe in the store. Also happens to be our cuzzie’s favourite Chinese restaurant in Sydney.

Address: Address: Regent Place, 12/501 George St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
Opening Hours: Monday – Sunday 11:30am–3pm, 5:30–10pm

Big thanks to Kenny, Grace and of course our cuzzies for a fun-filled day of going around eating Chinese food in Sydney CBD!

  1. I I have tried to find Beijing Style restaurant at/around 10 Dixon St, Sydney NSW for a couple of times without any success. Does anyone know where they are actually located? Thank you.

  2. its odd that chinese resturants dont have order online menus, and pay at door delivery ,you would think it would be useful to the fuialing business that i have seen across australia with less and less customers.

  3. Before I tell you how everything looks and sounds delicious coz they do, let me tell you what I did before I started watching this. I knew as ususal I would get hungry watching all that food so I went and made popcorn to keep my mouth busy and forget all about eating haha.

  4. Hahaha "just act natural".. I love seeing people freak out in front of the cam. Man, we've been wanting to visit Mr Wong's for so long, but never managed to get around to it. Mmm.. those wild mushroom dumplings look sahhhh good! LOL Peter, you totally suit the Emperor's outfit. Picturing you in an old Chinese Kung Fu movie right now. Looks legit.

  5. The food looked amazing. I would be really interested to see how the green noodle dish tastes in the third place. But I wouldn't doubt it tastes absolutely amazing. I knew about the number 8 being a lucky number but I had no idea about the meeting of 3 and 4. And thanks to this video I will never give a Chinese person a clock lol
