  1. I made this a few times in the past. the first time was an epic failure! it turned out to be a big ball of mush. The last time was perfect. They key is slightly pre-cook the riced cauliflower in the microwave and then wait until the very last second to add it to the mix

  2. I tried, but for the life of me I could never get on with cauliflower, so I ended up swapping the cauliflower with Shirataki noodles and making Chinese fried noodles. It's not the same thing, but it's really good and a great way to get a Chinese fix on LCHF, plus they're pretty cheap from Walmart — a pound of Shiratakis is like three (Canadian) bucks, so I basically got about a dozen bags of the bloody things x) Cheers mate

  3. Ok, however I still think you should/could call it something else – chicken fried veg or cauliflower, as calling it rice can be construed as rather misleading. Who knows? I might actually try it though I'm not a cauliflower fan. At all.

  4. Sorry – call it stir fried cauliflower NOT rice. I tuned in because I like rice but as soon as you said wait – I was gone. You could use basmati rice as it's not as bad as long grain.

  5. Cauliflower is really a great sub. after a year on Lc/ keto . It seems to take on what ever flavor you mix it with . I did chili & put it in place of beans , it was amazing . Some time's I lightly brown it first , before adding it to my concoctions . That give's it another different texture /flavor .. This look's Yummy going to buy some ingredients  🙂

  6. I made this and it was amazing. Such a good change from the salads I've been eating. I'm new to the low carb lifestyle and don't know a lot of recipes. This is definitely going into my repertoire and I will be making it regularly. I don't like peas in my fried rice so I omitted that. But I did add some hot sauce on top once I dished the "rice" out. I always put hot sauce on my fried rice and I must say, this gave me the full satisfaction of eating fried rice. Anyone who is skeptical about this, I suggest you go ahead and make this TODAY!! I will try this with beef the next time I make it.

  8. or low carb and high fat meal try using regular pork rinds and use a food processor to turn them into bread crumbs. Batter chicken thighs or whatever just like you would frying food and use the pork rinds crumbs as your batter plus egg wash so it can stick.

  9. I just bought 1 cauliflower and one dozen of eggs.there is definitely no weird taste after I grated the cauliflower , and I fried it with 1 table spoon smokey bbq sauce, taste so good!! Thanks for the wonderful idea!
